different walks of life in a world at war.

on a recent trip to atlanta alot more awesome things occured at the hotel than on the not so "mini" ramp. heres two clips of matt and blake, and their different takes on how to move quickly on a treadmill.

blake's technique.
matt's technique.

another interesting thing occured the following weekend. on my drive home i noticed some lightning in the distance that increased in intensity with each mile. once i got off my exit to guthrie the storm was coming on strong, by the time i reached the city limits i was in the EYE OF THE STORM! the rain was complelely sideways, there was hail, 50mph winds and lightning so strong i was blinded for a few seconds after it struck. i ran through the top branches of a downed tree at 55 mph at one point. i finally made it to the bingo....which is only 1 mile from my house...were i had to sit for 2 hours in the dark til the storm subsided. heres a clip of the sky as i was getting off the exit. the closest ive ever felt to death.

a battle
